Banking in today scenario is one of the most demanded job in India. More than  20 lakhs candidates  appear for the exam every year .Banking exams are conducted by RBI state bank of India , and private banks every year. After clearing exam and interview a candidate can work in any of there bank

. According to news there are more than 7 lakhs jobs in this bank in coming 5 years.

What types of jobs are in Bank.

Like any other government organization banking has lots of jobs at different level.

But for fresh graduate there are three ways to start a job.

  • Clerk jobs
  • Probationary officer
  • Specialist jobs

These bank exams help filter a large proportion of aspirants based on their exam performance. Shortlisted candidates then go through rounds of group discussion and personal interviews.

In order to test the basic aptitude and intelligence level of aspirants, and to provide a level playing field to aspirants from different educational backgrounds, bank entrance tests are typically conducted as aptitude tests. They test your IQ, concepts learnt in school and your general awareness levels. They are different from tests that you take in school or college in the following respects.

The commonly tested areas are:

  • Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation – school level math’s, basic charts and tables
  • Logical Reasoning – puzzles, analytical and critical reasoning
  • English Language – school level grammar, English comprehension
  • General Awareness – GK and current affairs
  • Computer Awareness – computers, applications, internet

Examination process

IBPS Exam includes two levels Common Written Exam CWE & Interview. Qualified participants in CWE will be eligible for Interview. IBPS Clerk & PO exam have Preliminary and Mains exam those candidates qualify in Pre exam they will be eligible for mains exam and then Interview. See table.

Update your knowledge daily :

You should update your knowledge by reading newspaper daily and daily read magazines  of current affairs and magazine related to  bank preparation .Also updates with current affairs knowledge. It is also important to update yourself with daily updates of bank and finance industry.

Revison :

Revision is important so you can learn it very well and solve question very well and it makes you more sharper.

Keep yourself stress free and proper diet and regular excersie.

Preparing for bank exam is tedious process some time  therefore Students need to be calm during preparation time. Take your love, friendship and family problems away from your mind for few days. Feel free and the only target one thing. Avoid junk food it turns you more lazy, drink lots of water and get enough sleep

Clerk exam

IBPS Clerk exam is heldby Institute for Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). This exam selects eligible candidates for the post of clerks in various public sector banks. Once a candidate clears the IBPS Clerk exam, he can get allocated to any of the 19-20 public sector banks for which IBPS conducts this exam.

  • Loan clerks keep a tab of all the loans dealings of the bank
  • Exchange clerk’s role is to convert currencies and handle international accounts
  • Security clerk deals with stocks and investment details of the bank
  • Interest clerk records the interest that the bank owes to customers, the interest on loans that the customer owes the bank, and the interest on investment that the banks have earned
