In today’s competitive market only having a degree in Commerce is not enough to get a job in market. It is normally believed that getting a degree in commerce is pretty good move but and is said to be minimum requirement to get a job.But in most of the cases it is not correct.
Put of doing after Graduation : 90% of commerce students opt for commerce with no understanding of what its involves.Students have false impression that career move are made after graduation .They postponed their decision hence they have lesser career choice after graduation.
No practical training at all
While there are ample of job opportunities but no practical knowledge make them insufficient to apply for the jobs. These days, organisations prefer candidates with additional practical skill sets. Students generally don’t have an idea about the available options of parallel courses that might boost the value of their B.Com degree.
Focusing on Academic Courses only
Generally, students tend to rely only on the academic courses with no inclination towards acquiring practical skill sets. But students with practical skills and vocational courses are given more preference by recruiters. So, it makes much more sense for students to pursue a B.Com degree along with CS and Banking & Finance course.
Joining unrelated courses
Most of the students join unrelated courses which has nothing to do with their degree Students join courses without kowing their strength and weakness.
